Our Mission
The mission of Standing By The Door is to share the experience of God’s transforming love with weary and hurting people through compassionate fellowship and life instruction
Our Program
Standing By the Door is a 6-month sober living program. We offer each client a variety of classes that range from Common Solution Recovery, We Do Recover, Carrying the Message, and Spiritual Growth class. Our recovery program offers each person clean sober housing, transportation services, a drop-in center, and church service. All our classes are taught by someone who has suffered from the torture of addiction and have found the solution in the 12 steps of Alcoholics Anonymous and now volunteer their time to help others seek and live in the solution.
Our Vision
To see our communities set free from addiction, by people finding freedom, finding purpose, and going out into the world and making a difference.

For families in recovery, Christmas can be complicated. Our Christmas Wish keeps it simple and dignifying: each Standing By The Door house receives a blank wish list so Parents can write what they would love to give their children.
Then our community steps in- some donate, others adopt a wish list and shop.
